US TAX ACCOUNTANT
Shift: 9PM-6AM PHT

About this role…
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Has taken some courses in taxation (U.S. taxation)
EXPERIENCE
- At least two (2) years of experience working in a public accounting firm, performing work related to taxes (U.S. taxation)
- Possesses familiarity with U.S. tax regulations and knowledge of specific tax forms
- Has a well-rounded knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles or IFRS
- Has experience in the preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships (for U.S. based clients)
- Has experience performing schedule computations of accruals and property and equipment, and calculating depreciation expense
TECHNOLOGY
- Experience with tax software (U.S. tax software is a plus)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
COMMUNICATION
- Strong English proficiency, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients and colleagues
- Ability to explain tax concepts clearly and concisely
ANALYTICAL SKILLS C OTHER
- Possess the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple client engagements efficiently
- Strong organizational skills for managing tax deadlines
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently
- Possesses the ability to punctually enter time worked to support efficient billing processes
- Willing to invest the time to understand the Firm’s tax preparation policies and approach
- Willing to perform other accounting and tax-related tasks as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel
